Today is World Teacher's day, when I was at primary school, if anyone ever asked me what I wanted to do I would say with full conviction I want to be a teacher. At secondary school, it varied between running my own business or being a teacher. I loved the idea of walking around in power suits and being all big and important and responsible for lots of important things. I liked the idea of having lots of staff and being boss, but still the love for helping others and making a difference to someone kept pulling me back to wanting to be a teacher. read more >>

Last Wednesday I was very spoilt and spent the afternoon at Infusion Hair Design in Worthing. They had a specialist from Aveda down who was training hairdressers from as far afield as Surrey and Hampshire a new product for curly hair. Either to help straighten or in my case because my hair is so curly to make the curls more defined. read more >>
